Thanksgiving
What comes to mind when you think of Thanksgiving? Spilled green bean casserole? Bread soup stuffing? Angry turkeys? Cleaning for hours? Grocery lists? Baking? Hot stoves? And don't forget about decorations!! How about relatives?
Pie?
More food with the other side of the family... Yes! They had meatballs! I like meatballs.
We had a Thanksgiving dinner at our house with the Uncle Steve relatives (like my categories? Yeah...). Then we had another one with the Daddy's-side relatives. We talked and ate olives. After I got done eating, I went and sat down at the table with Uncle Bill and my dad. They were having a stimulating and exhilarating conversation about classmates from when they graduated (1882 and 1884, respectively). Then they stepped the thrill level up a couple notches and began talking about basketball. It was at that juncture that I couldn't handle the excitement left.
After these exciting occurrences, certain people collapsed.
So tell me about your Thanksgiving!

Yes, thanksgiving makes me think of all those things. and when I was up there end of Oct.. Uncle Steves turkeys sounded like they were getting angry! Every one of your pictures is great, tells your story so well. Uh, was Aunt Ollie there? was that a play on words, by any chance, "eating olives" ?!
Maybe you're clever and don't know it! Our Thanksgiving was very nice too, we 5 boynton beachers, were at Auntie M's, with her, Uncle Ron, Teri and Doug. good dinner, and several games of pictionary that had us all hysterical. Fun times.
Aunt Ollie was at my dad's side dinner...but no, that wasn't intended to be a pun! There was a bowl of green olives sitting in front of Uncle Larry and Uncle (or is he my cousin?) Rick, so I was stealing those. It sounds like you guys all had fun!
