Hey guys (and gals), it's Jess here, and once again I am hacking Erika's blog!
But this time, I am not here to post embarrassing pictures of Erika or anything even remotely devious. Even though that would be fun. No, I assure you, my motives are entirely above reproach.
You see, I am attempting to fill Erika's email inbox, so that she will not come back and be depressed when she sees that she has (currently) only seven emails (yes, I do check her email for her while she's gone!). Every comment that you write goes to Erika's email, so I am asking all of you for a favor....
Please comment!!! I realize that's a very vague request, so I would suggest that you write something encouraging about her trip and how much we miss her, etc.
Won't she be surprised?! Or annoyed. One or the other! :)

Since you are reading this I assume you made it back mostly in one piece. I believe you are most of the way to being call Ma'am!
As Jess has been missing you now that you are home she could show her empathy by understanding that you are exhausted and continuing doing the dishes for a couple more days so that you have R & R. :)

Whenever I read your blog, joy always follows. Your post are always filled with such spunk and are just plain lively.
You are giving such a gift to your family with this blog. You are leaving them a precious legacy of this season of their lives, that when they are old and gray and look back on it and read about the time of their lives that made them who they are.
Keep writing. God has clearly given you such talent in this area, so don't stop pursuing writing. Greater things are yet to come.

Wow. well, hi! So, i'm still in MA because of thunderstorms, but I'm hoping to be home tomorrow. So much for sleeping in. Thank you all for commenting...it was quite an awesome surprise! And I hope to blog shortly. Only I can't remember what I've done over the past 4.5 years (seven days, four years...same difference.)
How has your encampment been so far? Come home so Jess doesn't have to do the dishes!
