Our relatives who live in Florida came up to visit us. I took some pictures of us and my mom's sister and her family today. The photo above is of Lydia, Julia, Joanna, and Hosanna working on their hay fort.

Here they are, still working on the roof.

And this is the finished product. You can't really see, but there are two little houses, connected by an inter-haybale tunnel.

The adults...Daddy, Uncle Victor, Aunt Joanne (Mamma's sister), and Mamma. There wasn't even a flash, and she still had to shut her eyes, phooey.

Little lawn mower.

Erika! What a terrific blog. Your pictures are terrific. Keep up the good work!
Oh -- and I must agree with your assessment of the kitty litter cake. TOO realistic. What an amazing job. :-) Did it get all eaten with enthusiasm??
Keep up the good work, and love to your whole family -- Hugs, Sonya
Did it all get eaten with enthusiasm? Well...it did get consumed...eventually, but we had all eaten a big meal, and there is just *something* about eating "cat litter." There was one enthusiastic kitty-litter-desert-eater, and that was the only teenage boy present. If you come and visit us and I'll have Annetta make you some :) It tasted fine though.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back; you never know when I'll add something!
Only little girls could make a house out of hay! :)
